Acting as Creative Director of the SOHO-based language company, JP Linguistics ran the gammit of my skills from business development, strategy, brand identity, brand positioning, photography, web design, logo, design collateral (web & print), product development, packaging design, social media platform conceptualization, and image consulting. To start, the company developed a point of difference strategy that focused on 3-points: native instructors, the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), and location. Lower Manhattan was desperate for a homey language brand that provided a comfortable environment for hardworking business men and women - so that's exactly what I set out to establish. In addition, I developed a line of cultural immersive services that enticed language enthusiasts to concentrate on learning in unique settings, such as on an authentic Italian gondola ride through Central Park and a macaron making course held in a Parisian owned bakery in Greenwhich Village. Since the launch, profits have increased 200% and the company has seen placement in The Daily Beast, France-Amerique, Business Writing For Dummies, and WOW Talks.
